An overview of the works that were presented at the duo-show 'Waar Gebeurd' at the Moving Gallery Utrecht. For this exhibition, I made work that was inspired by the Amazons - the female warrior tribe from Ancient Greece. These women were fearless, independent and strong. Imagining their world made me connect with my own fighting spirit, which feels necessary in these times of rising conservatism and misogony.
